Kokoro Amsterdam is a popup restaurant that offers a variety of Japanese-inspired dishes, most specifically ramen and sushi. We have been closely involved with the project since its inception to create a distinct brand identity, as well as produce branded merchandise, print materials, and art direction. Our aim is to help the restaurant establish itself as a unique and recognizable brand, setting it apart from its local competitors.
Menu
We have created a unique sleeve concept. The candy pink paper adds creativity and allows Kokoro's team to use the same sleeve for each popup. By changing only the menu inside the sleeve, they can offer customers a fresh experience every time they visit.
Illustration
We collaborated with Dutch illustrator Andrew Tseng to create a series of illustrations for promotional materials, social content, and merchandise.
Merch
We designed their first merchandise drop featuring Andrew's set of illustrations alongside handwritten elements and a striking typography system. These designs are printed on oversized, premium-quality boxy blanks.
Website
Built on a headless Shopify solution, we created a mobile-first ecommerce platform to showcase past and future Kokoro events.
